Careers Exposed: Medical Student -- Second Article In A Series

Awhile back, I published the first in a series of articles aimed at helping people identify the right career. Whether you're just out of school or considering a career change, you need to know more than a simple job description. I've interviewed people who walk the walk in a wide variety of professions.

The most recent article in the series gets up close and personal with Medical Student Lindsey Stannard. Lindsey worked in television for years until her recent shift into the world of Osteopathic Medicine.

Click here to read the article.

Watch my blog for more about Lindsey Stannard, who recently wrote a book due for release later this Spring/Summer (2010).

Happy Earth Day!

Every order $25 or more from now until midnight (Earth Day 2010) will be shipped with a re-usable shopping bag. These are excellent for carrying two regular grocery bags-worth of whatever you want! They're washable and durable, and sold in the original M Design Boutique for $8.50.

Offer good while supplies last, although there should be more than enough for all orders to ship with one.

Enclosure Cards In M Design Boutique!

I've added several cute new enclosure cards to M Design Boutique for gift orders! Now you can have your gift sent with one of these hand-made cards. I make each card and envelope, using re-purposed card stock (for the cards) and origami paper (for the envelopes).

Details:
Hand-stamped and inked enclosure cards (2.5" x 3.5" white card stock) with hand cut and assembled envelope made from re-purposed origami paper.

Select straight or scalloped edge (see photo).

Select envelope color (see photo).

When checking out, indicate what hand-written message you would like written on your enclosure card, color preferences and scalloped or straight edge.

If no preferences are indicated at check-out, they will be selected for you.

Sorbet Cha Cha Bracelet inspired by my mom's recent fascination with buttons. Just you wait till we see what she makes with this most simple and functional little element of our everyday world...I'm predicting something pretty cool. This Cha Cha Bracelet is the first of many button jewels you'll be seeing.

For those of you who have inquired, here are the available colors for the flip flops in M Design Boutique. You can request any color by number, and either use the numbers or a specific description for the ribbon you'd like.

Gingham comes in light blue, red or lime green.

There are more ribbon colors than flip flop colors, so please describe what you want if you don't see it in the chart. For example, light pink or hot pink.
